Seaside :

Hyères-les-Palmiers is one of the most popular destinations for aquatic sports. Surfing enthusiasts will appreciate the area of Almanarre, which is exposed to the Mistral-Wind and is the ideal place to practice speed and jumps with Kite-Surf and Funboard. The two shores, to the East = LA BERGERIE, or to the West = L’ALMANARRE, are suitable for sailors of all levels of expertise. Hyères-les-Palmiers is known worldwide for its Scuba diving because of the richness and diversity of it’s sea beds numerous wrecks (la Gabinière, épaves Donator and Grec).

Nature :

During your walks you will discover the fauna and flora of the coastal footpath and the ornothological reserve located on the double isthmus leading to the Giens Peninsula (flamingos, cormorants, avocets, crests, herons, …). In the open sea, the island of Porquerolles with it’s white sandy beaches and warm seawater and it’s coastal footpath. The island of Port Cros with it’s scuba-diving path, and finally, the island of Le Levant, paradise for naturists. Daily boat-tours to the islands are available with « bateau-vision » Discover also the little traditionnal fishing ports of Giens, l’Ayguades, La Capte or Les Salins. In the inland areas you can visit the « Massif des Maures » (St Tropez 55 Km). « Les Gorges du Verdon ».
